The i2210 is an electronic repeater and a 2-port active fiber hub for Andover's Continuum Infinet field bus, designed to transmit the RS-485 signal into a fiber optic signal. A single Andover Continuum Infinet RS-485 input supplies up to two fiber optic output signals, or "spokes."
